We want you involved in your child's goals and to help and encourage them.
We encourage you to come and attend the classes with your student and to participate.
We ask that you volunteer to help in class one day a week.
We will offer a variety of adult classes. This first year we will start off with a mother's online class on learning how to teach your children taught by Resha and a parent class on knowing your religion taught by Tresta.
We also highly encourage parents to attend school classes with their children at no extra cost. This is a great opportunity to learn and to strengthen your relationships with your children and with others.

No, we are not follow any specific curriculum. We are focusing on Ancient History this year and will be using the Old Testament as our text. We may bring in other sources.
The curriculum we are using is created by Tresta Neil and Resha Bartlett. It's main focus is the restored gospel perspective and discovering truths and natural laws.
We have one main classroom. We will not divide the children by age.
There may be times we have the younger children go to another smaller breakout room for extracurricular activities.

Each student will have their own cubby to put books into, but it will be open and not private.
There are several topics we will not teach in school, these topics are family topics and are the responsibility of the parents. However, we support the family and will provide training for parents to be able to teach their children sex education, gender role, and other topics as needed.
We will not teach manners and respect that comes from the family.
We will not be teaching college prep classes or getting your child ready to take the ACT.
Yes, happily, we would bring them in. We are not certified in teaching them, however, we are loving, patient, willing to learn from you and them and help where we can.
Based on an individual basis, will do our best, there may be times we can't.
We will not be giving out any homework assignments, however our secret goal is to get them to the point they are so interested in learning they bring it home to work on.
Yes, there will be a grading system though it will not be traditional.
Class work and computations will be talked about as a class, the problems will be marked incorrect and the student will again have a chance to learn from those problems and either do it again or orally say what he has learned.
The students will grade themselves on their performance, their attitude, and their work. We will have some work that is peer reviewed and the big projects and reports will be teacher reviewed.
We will keep a detailed record of the students learning and experiences (this will later be transcribed into a school transcript).
We will establish a school constitution where both the parents and the children will sign. Remembering discipline starts with the parents.
We will have a training on individuality, self-government, and rights of property.
If we have issues with your child we will:
- Politely ask them if they are being self-governed
- Reminder them of the constitution they have signed and promised to follow.
- Asked to talk to their parents
- Asked to go home or parent is required to come with the child
