Discover the Gospel Story Written in the Stars

Did you know the heavens may reveal more than the beauty of the night sky? The scriptures teach that the heavens declare the glory of God and that all things bear record of Jesus Christ. This course explores the fascinating connections between the stars, the scriptures, and God’s plan for His children.

Drawing on the research of Frances Rolleston, E. W. Bullinger, J. A. Seiss, and John Pratt, you’ll discover how the names and meanings of the constellations have been interpreted as witnesses of Christ and His mission. Explore the proposed connections between the twelve major constellations and the twelve tribes of Israel, including the symbolism found in the blessings of Jacob’s sons and the visions of Ezekiel and John.

You’ll also examine the biblical purpose of the heavenly lights, the meaning of Mazzaroth, and the role of the stars as signs, markers of seasons, and witnesses of the Creator. Along the way, you’ll consider how these patterns relate to the gathering of Israel and preparation for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

Whether you are studying the scriptures, exploring biblical symbolism, or seeking a deeper understanding of God’s creations, this course invites you to look upward with new eyes and consider what the heavens may teach us about the Savior and His divine purposes.
