She's an accomplished violinist, writer, avid reader & consumes vast amounts of random information from YouTube, and was homeschooled for most of her life as well. She was one of the first modern-era homeschooled children that had to pave the way for countless others to follow, witnessing first-hand the legal, clerical, educational and familial systems that all fought hard against my parents' wise-beyond-their-years-or-comprehension during this time.
She's the eldest of 7 homeschooled children and got to teach her younger brothers how to read, do math, First Aid skills, skateboarding, treehouse building and stick up for family in the face of any type or size of bully.
She had the freedom to pursue any of her modest interests with her extra time like violin, piano, writing music, short stories, essays and children's books, a variety of martial arts, and much more.
From a young age she found a personal passion in her religion and Faith, politics, economics, psychology, medicine and infant development.
She was in BYU's Army Reserve Officer Training Corpe for two years through UVSC, scoring among the highest of all the women and even many of the men in her Leadership classes and training, marksmanship and physical training.
She then had the honor of serving a Christian service mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints during the turn of the century 99-00 in Buenos Aries, Argentina. She had a successful mission by many standards and as hard as it was would do it again!
Since then she learned how to manage and build a house and whole subdivisions from the ground up, managed several large student housing complexes, and started several businesses.
She has a passion for teaching, guiding and leading, especially the youth, and inspiring anyone that they can cling to the Faith no matter their circumstances and that they can accomplish anything that God has asked of us, and if we will just ask Him, seek Him, and be of good cheer then God will always provide the way.
